Ava has figured this one out! When she wants to jump on our beds at home, I always tell Ava she can jump on Aunt Sandy's bed, but no one else's bed (Laura said that Ava can jump on her bed, but I think she is just trying to be the next Aunt Sandy.). So, finally we went to Aunt Sandy's house...

Everybody Loves Aunt Sandy!!!
Everyone in my family knows that if you are at Aunt Sandy's house, you're set for fun! You can always eat the junk food, watch cable tv, swim in the pool, and have quality time with Aunt Sandy!
So torn...
I was just on the couch, snuggling with Ava a moment ago. She kept hopping off the couch to put on some hand-me-down flip-flops on. She'd very carefully put them on, then kick them off and climb back up into my lap. Then she'd hop down again. She must have done it four times! The poor girl is so torn between the need to snuggle and the need to be cool in her flip-flops! An eternal struggle!

Yesterday was Dada's birthday!!!
Yesterday was Mark's birthday! Hooray for Dada! For days we talked about Dada having a birthday, but when it came right down to it, Ava was sure that it was all about her!
Also, Charlotte has moved into Ava's house. She made the move a little earlier than Ava did! Really, the girl is so 'Leah Barrett'. She crawls in and out of everything in the back yard. She doesn't mind grass (it tastes great), dirt (pretty tasty, too) or cement! Soon she'll be walking barefoot on gravel...just like Leah!

Interesting Dance Moves
This morning Ava ran away from me while I was getting her dressed. She started doing these dramatic, freeform dance moves without a stitch of clothing on. I watched her for a while, laughing a little, then asked her where she learned to dance like that.
"Dada," she replied, twirling and jumping with her arms open wide.
